My name is Aidan DeMuro and welcome to Playbook Plates! I am an amateur cook, and sports LOVER! I am a University of Colorado student in his senior year studying Journalism, And I am passionate about how food can enhance the entertainment value of sports. I grew up in North Carolina, apart of a deep loving rich family who valued the food we made just as well we did a good football or basketball game. I’ve been cooking since I was 12 years old and my favorite memories involves frying chicken cutlets for my loved ones whilst they were screaming at the television during March Madness!
On this blog, I’ll be delving into the rich connection between food and sports. How much does it escalate the entertainment experience? What are the local and regional team must try’s? and most importantly I want to showcase how good eats brings sport fans together across the U.S.
Throughout the year, I’ll be making and reviewing recipes from sports fans across the U.S. , showcasing the local food offerings at stadiums and tailgates across the Denver area, and finding the best food and drinks to go with a good game as we unwind and have fun.
